I think the definites...so far...for the rest are...
Rose Cotton Gamgee Rose
Pansy Baggins Bolger Pansy
Daisy Baggins Boffin Daisy
Primrose Gamgee Primrose
Still have to decide the last two.

Yay! Isn't there an Iris on one of those Hobbit family trees? I'm going to have a look right now!
Nope, no Iris, although there are many entries that are just "X daughters." Ach! How could I have missed "Marigold" Gamgee Cotton, Sam's sister! Marigolds are LOVELY little flowers and come in so many wonderful colors!
There's also "Celandine" Brandybuck and "Salvia" Brandybuck Bolger.

I never realised before you started doing this how many floral names Tolkien gave girl hobbits!
Makes me even more
that my 'Hobbit Name' came up as Ivy Grubb...
Now let the song begin! Let us sing together
Of sun, stars, moon and mist, rain and cloudy weather...

I like the ones that have a little bud in the composition. Are you drawing these from memory, RR, or real life, or other pictures?
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

I start with a layout from another pic or photo, Merry, and then go from there. The Rosie Cotton Rose was actually yellow in the pic.

Wow - you have been busy! I love the tulip especially.
I've never seen such a blue primrose before
. At least, I have seen those deep purply ones.

My neighbor had primroses that color last summer. It was my inspiration.

Lucky neighbor! I'd love to be able to grow primroses that color--I'm always looking for blue.
The tulip is pretty, too. Can't wait for spring! (More snow last night. . .)
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,

and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

When I go to my local Home Depot to pick out bedding plants in the summer, I am always amazed at the brilliant colors they have in the primroses...aqua ...pink ...purple ...orange ...yellow ...
It is as if they spray paint them.

Sam would think they had a touch of Galadriel's special 'dust' in the soil!
