No--not Saruman, although the speaker is connected to him. (Not Grima) Think much less lofty in rank. It's actually part of an exchange between two baddies.

Is it an orc?

It's Grishnakh, arguing with Ugluk

Here's one with a double answer:

Yes, serinde--it's our favorite uruk-hai, whose head will shortly be on a
Rohirric spear.

Serinde, I just read this in the chapter I finished last night--yes, another summer reread of LOTR! This is Butterbur quoting Gandalf about Frodo.
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

Who said, "Take him away and keep him safe, until he feels inclined to tell the truth, even if he waits a hundred years"?

This is Thranduil, speaking to his guards about Thorin, who will not divulge why he is trespassing in Mirkwood.

Right, of course! I thought putting a Hobbit vibe out there might spur the moviemakers to action. 8) Whenever it comes, it will be fun to see what Thranduil looks like!

By the time they get it all sorted out, Orlando Bloom will be old enough to play Thranduil!

Ok--new quote: "It is difficult to deceive him, and dangerous to try."
Bonus if you know who "him" is.
