Elros Tar-Minyatur, who's ruled 410 years. He was the son of Earendil and Elwing, and was 90 when he came to the throne of Numenor. He enjoyed baking and long walks, and almost invented duct tape.

I thought it was Velcro.
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

I gave this to Elrond and appointed him vice-regent in Eridor. Whom am I and what is the name of the object?

Gil-galad appointed Elrond as his vice-regent in Eriador in 1701 of the Second Age...The object Gil-galad gave Elrond was Vilya, the Blue Ring, the mightest of the Three Rings of the Elves..
