Elven name: Inwe Elendil
Hobbit name: Esmerelda Peatfingers of Brockenborings
Here's how my girls' names translated:
Elven names: Alasse Saralonde and Tari Saralonde
Hobbit names: Prisca Burrows and Tigerlily Burrows
And my husband's:
Elven name: Eol Saralonde
Hobbit name: Grigory Burrows
I wonder how they come up with these "translations"?

Esmerelda Peatfingers of Brockenborings? That's priceless
. That's definitely my new favourite. Makes Ivy Grubb sound really boring.

and my Elven name is Idril Mithrandír.
I'm related to Gandalf
What can you see on the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea, the pale moone rises, the ships have come to carry you home.

Elven Name
Galadriel Telemmaite (cool eh?)
and
Hobbit name
Lobelia Underhill of Frogmorton (Not so cool,
I only need the Sackville-Baggins to finish it off
)
What have I got in my pocket?

Yeah, Frogmorton is not so glamorous. But I dig your Elvish name.

Great links Philipa! I checked out the one where you can write your name in Elvish, supposedly a 10-minute activity. After reading some of the instructions, I think that's a very optimistic estimate!

My elfish name is
Eamane Calmcacil
My hobbit name is
Bramblerose Danderfluff of Willowbottom

Philipa, the name generator is up and running, Chris says that there is such a large response it gets backed up sometimes.
Here's my Elvish,
ORELINDE SARALONDE
Not so sure I like my Hobbit name,
GOLDIE BURROWS
This was fun, thanks
