It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door…You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to.

Thanks
The two game threads involved with levels has the level criteria on the introduction post of each thread.
does it relate to the Books of the LOTR?
Yes, it purtains to all Tolkiens books. The introduction posts break it down.
Not a question per say but just an observation. The Tolkien Library looks great. Although it is a shame WRoR are closing shop it is great they let you bring the Library here. You've done a great job over the years Riv keeping that alive.
Has there been an update/redesign of the MeJ website? As of this morning, it looks SIGNIFICANTLY different! Maybe I just need to get accustomed to the new format (if it is a new format and not some sort of glitch), but right now, I find it far less congenial to navigate.

It is a phpBB update that we have been a long time in completing. LOL ... we are finding the same thing you are in that we will all have to re-learn our way around. Yup ... we look different, but as we all tinker with it, I am sure it will soon look like home (the Last Homely Home) again ... in a new way. Change is good!
I daresay I'll get used to the new layout in time, but I'm finding the new typeface incredibly difficult to read comfortably - it's smaller, isn't it? or more condensed. It doesn't show up too well against the background - I'm having to squint to read it.

But I would not have come, had I known the danger of light and joy."
It's easier to read on my Mac here at the office - less glare. Part of the problem reading the posts (at home, anyway) is the "sheen" effect behind each one. If the background was a flat colour, like it is over at Viggo_Works, it would be easier.
And I found the 'thanks' button, as you can see - but I might not, if you hadn't pointed it out. I'll keep hovering the mouse over the various icons to remind me what they are until I get used to them.
Must admit, I keep comparing the new look (unfavourably) with VW - but then I used to find VW confusing until I got used to it. Fingers crossed . . .!!
