The 'Woses' are the Wild Men of the Woods. Elfhelm of the Roherrim told Merry this. :wink:

Please forgive for hogging the Trivia board...but I LOVE Tolkien geography! :oops:

On the island of Númenor, the Nunduinë river flowed into Lake Nísinen and ultimately into Eldalondë.

What was the exact date (day/month/year) that Bilbo left on his adventure with Thorin and the Dwarves? Hint: The year is not listed in the Shire Reckoning.
