Ah a bit of a Raven question Hope?

Roac son of Carc was the Chief of the ravens and was a messenger for Thorin in the Hobbit. :D

Level = 2.0?

Where was Elendil buried after his death in the Battle of the Last Alliance? Why was he buried there? Why was his grave moved and to where?

Elendil's body was secretly laid in a tomb by Isildur, on Halifirien, later the Hill of Awe, and it was there for over two thousand years until it was removed, in the time of Cirion the Steward, and taken back to the hallows of Minas Tirith.

Hope that answers your question Riv. :)

Sorry I scooted in there Philipa :)

Here's a level 2.5

Who said "Nay, The Shadow lengthens and the Hidden remain hid" and to whom did he say it?

Now that one I know!!! I know it!! \:D/

Tuor said this to his guide Voronwe at thier meeting. Tuor was searching for Gondolin.

I love that whole story in the Unfinished Tales...the part when Ulmo speaks to Tuor is reviting.

Great Philipa! :D

I too love that opening chapter in the "Unfinished Tales" in fact I think the whole book is wonderful.

What's your next question?
