Merry I knew who it qwas about, but it took me sometime to work out who said it!
This is Gleowine, Theoden's minstrel singing as they raised the funeral mound over Theoden.

Good work, Gil! I'm always struck by what Tolkien tells us, that this minstrel never made another song after this funeral dirge. What a radical thing, especially for a fellow wordsmith.
You're turn--
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

Yes, I guess I should have gotten that one sooner!
I am on the road for the holidays and away from my books, but I'll have a new question up by Tuesday.
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

Okay, here's an easy one:
"He is a moss-gatherer, and I have been a stone doomed to rolling."
Who said this about whom?
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.
