Level 3

Which poem are these last few lines from?
But side by side a little pair
with heads together, mingled hair,
went walking to and fro
still hand in hand; and what they said,
ere Waking far apart them led,
that only we now know.

I have no idea if that answer is correct, but I just want to congratulate you all on your Tolkien expertise. This is really impressive!
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

Merry~ she is right on!!!
What I love about this is if I have doubts about the answer ( I thought there were only 7 palantír) I drag out all my books to check, and learn something new in the process!! :D
O Elbereth! Gilthomiel!
We still remember, we who dwell
In this far land beneath the trees,
Thy starlight on the Western Seas.

Varda, this trivia idea started over on V-W when we had a small Tolkien forum. Everyone loved the trivia and all from the beginners to the geeks participated. That is why we have three levels of questions. :D The researching is half the fun.

You´re right, the master stone never left Tol Eressea. Sorry for not answering sooner, but it was already late in Germany.

It´s your turn :D

Lord of Lamedon was called Angbor the Fearless by Aragorn, because he wasn´t afraid when Aragorn appeared with the Army of the Dead.
