The elves that refused the journey were known as the Avari, which means The Unwilling.
It is to be noted that the Elves were being asked to leave Middle Earth, where they had lived since they had awokenm and follow the Valar back to Valinor. Most of the elves did not trust the Valar because they had met Melkor first and this had not been a good experience.
So, even though a few ambasadors went first to Valinor and came back with glowing reports there were many who refused.

Oh elizabeth!! One of my all time favorite Tolkien names. Iarwain Ben-adar was the name given to Tom Bombadil by the Grey-elves, I believe it is Sandarin in origin and means "Old Fatherless".elizabeth wrote:Okay: I hope that I have this classed correctly as a level 2.

The name of Sigurd's sword was...Gram...it was forged by Regin who was Sigurd's foster father and tutor in Hjalprek's court in Denmark...
