Who was the first Ruling Queen of Númenor?

The ONLY queen of Numenor I can remember is Queen Beruthiel and her cats. So that's my first guess, without looking it up.

Nope ... if you'll recall, all of the Kings and Queens of Númenor had names beginning with "Tar ", e.g. Tar-Minyatur was the name Elros chose when he became the first King of Númenor.

A great, quick reference for all characters Tolkien is the Encyclopedia of Arda.
