How many days did it take for the Fellowship to reach the East Gate of Moria from their starting point of Rivendell?

The Fellowship left Rivendell on December 25, 3018 and arrived at the East Gate of Moria on January 13, 3019 for a total of 20 days..if my memory serves me correctly..

OK...it is hint time.

EL has the starting and ending dates correct...but Tolkien only has 30 days in his December calendar...and...he has the season called Yule inserted.

Guesses? :D

I have no idea how many 'yule days' there are. :lol: OK I'll guess two days for Yule...that would make it 21. How's my guess?
