Wow your Elvish name is hard on the tongue.

But the first name alone is beautiful.

Are the generators down, or is it just the PC I'm currently using?

Kirill these name generators have been around for a long time however, I fear they are no longer up and running. I've tried several different links with no success.
I did however find a new one which you can have a hobbit, elf, dwarf or Wizard name.

Thanks!
Hobbit:
Bappi Cock-robin Longholes of Nobottle
probably a cute little thing...
Wizard:
Gorthaur Istar uh-oh, dark wizard...
Dwarf:
Gusur son of Foili *grows a beard*
Elf:
Cessa, Hewer of Caves sounds more like a dwarf somehow...
Human:
Yraedry, Captain of the Southern Army not bad!

Yay, Philipa! Thanks for finding a new name generator. I tried first name only, first and last name, and full name, and of course got wildly different results each time:
First Name Only:
Hobbit: Nissa "The Young" Sackville of Hardbottle (Hmmm . . .)
Elf: Isawien Aranwion
Dwarf: Dwniver the Deathless (!)
Human: Acalewia of the Sickly (dear me!)
Wizard: Curumo, Flame of Udun (didn't Gandalf call the Moria Balrog "Flame of Udun?!!)
First and Last Name:
Hobbit: Runa "Proudneck" Chubb of Nobottle ("Proudneck"?)
Elf: Gliowien of the House of Feanor (no doubt a trouble-maker!)
Dwarf: Brerka the Ruler (nice!)
Human: Umessi of the Apanona (sounds like a woman of Harad or the Easterlings or Umbar)
Wizard: Alatar the Bird Tamer (I think that was the name of one of the "lost" Blue Wizards, wasn't it? Although Saruman snidely referred to Radagast as "Bird-Tamer.")
Full Name:
Hobbit: Dwila "The Magnificent" Baggins of Fair Downs (Ah! NOW we're getting somewhere!)
Elf: Eowebrilia Aranel
Dwarf: Laena the Simple (Hmmm . . . I hope that means simple tastes, not simple-minded!)
Human: Hymwen of the Hildor
Wizard: Incanus, Durin's Bane (Again, another title for the Moria Balrog!)

Yep, Alatar and Pallando are the Blue Wizards, and Udûn is a region of Mordor. Incanus happens to be the name Gandalf goes by in the South.
House of Fëanor, eh? Thought they had died out long ago...

Bappi Cock-robin Longholes of Nobottle Laughing

. That's priceless. How on earth did they come up with that one? I'm still laughing
Here's mine - great to have this fun all over again!
Hobbit: Jollyra Darnswool of the Bree (yeah right, me and wool... I don't think so!!!)
Wizard: Incánus The Wise (that's me!

)
Dwarf: Lobrylla the Brave (Lobrylla?

)
Elf: Legiolindë Tinúviel (Hurrah.... closely related to the beautiful Luthien)
Human: Nydiwiel Uinéniel (sounds a bit elvish to me....)

I haven't checked out the name generator in a long time, but the last time I plugged my name in, my Hobbit name was Peony Bumbleroot. I kinda like that one!

Well Ms. Bumbleroot you can never have enough names.

Very true! I've been called by my legal name, and some folks have preferred my nickname, and still others have insisted on calling me by my middle name.
Good Heavens! Now I just tell people to call me whatever they'd like and I'll probably answer as long as it's nice!

Peony Bumbleroot is fantastic! So much better than Ivy Grubb which aways comes into my mind when I'm grubbing around hacking down the ivy at the back of my garden wall.
Mmmmmmmmm. Maybe my name's suitable after all!
