Had to look this up: when Gandalf and Denethor first face off in the throne room in Minas Tirith--March 9--Pippin sees the similarities and differences between the two old men as they struggle for dominance. A great scene!
Sing and be glad, all ye children of the West,
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.
for your King shall come again,
and he shall dwell among you
all the days of your life.

I agree Merry, it is a fabulous scene, one that further illuminates both Gandalf and Denethor and gives us an inkling of the kind of power the Men of Westernesse must have wielded at one time.

From the distant western green hills of Gondor did Hirluin the Fair rode the 300. They came to aid of Eomer and the Rohirrm, but Hirluin paid the ultimate price and would not see the distant mountains again.

Merry the Fair it is! (one hopes you would not grade on a curve)
I would like to pick up on where the script writers got it wrong. In the extened version of Return of the King, we have Eowen and Aragorn in a touching exchange where she relates a dream that had shaken her. Aragorn replies, "Sleep while you can, night changes many thoughts."
In reality it was another major character who said this to a minor character. Who and where? Level 1

Sometimes when I'm reading LOTR I often underline phrases or sentences that appeared in PJ's scripts for the film, so it took me a while to find it. Theoden said these words to Hirgon at the Muster of Rohan on the Firienfeld.bruce rerek wrote: I would like to pick up on where the script writers got it wrong. Hope that's it anyway

Yes, Bruce I agree and although PJ always went back to the book, many of the words spoken by others remain out of context. I was always disappointed by Grima’s words in the film to Eowyn that were spoken by Gandalf in the Houses of Healing
“But who knows what she spoke to the darkness, alone, in the bitter watches of the night … the walls of her bower closing in about her, a hutch to trammel some wild thing in”
How I truly missed this wonderful chapter that merely had a few seconds in the film.
On to my question – level 1
“where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?” Which line precedes this and who spoke it?
