Well, I know he's one of the five Istari who came to Middle-earth (with Gandalf and Saruman), and I thought I'd read he went to the East and was never heard from again. Radagast is the one who gave Gandalf the message to go to Saruman (in FOTR), which led to Gandalf's capture.

Well yes ladies that is the bare bones of it. Not much is known about Radagast the brown.
So, would you like to do a joint questions ladies?

Since Merry beat me to it by a minute, she's welcome to give us a new question if she wants.

Oh, no, I answered only the most obvious part of the question. I think the honor goes to you, Airwin!

OK, I've picked a name out of a hat and it was Airwin.
It's your turn ma'am.

Very well.
What is the White Company, who formed it, and who was the first Captain?

Airwin
Was this the personal guard of Faramir instigated by King Elessar after the War of the Ring. I think Beregond was the first captain, this was his "punishment" for deserting his post as captain of the guard of Minas Tirith

Thanks Airwin, following on from your theme of "white"
Who was the White Lady of the Noldor and who was her
1) father
2) brothers
3) husband
Bonus point: how did she die?
Kind regards

Good question Marilyn!
I love Aredhel's story. Although it is tragic and her end is so sad I think she truly loved her son Maeglin although he turned out to be more like his father; possesive and selfish in the end.
Who was the White Lady of the Noldor and who was her
1) father
Fingolfin
2) brothers
Turgeon and Fingon
3) husband
Eöl
Bonus point: how did she die?
She died after her husband Eöl shots a dart or javelin at Turgeon (long story that is) and Aredhel jumps before it. The dart hits her in the shoulder and she sickens and dies.
Her story may be one to discuss at length in the
Sil forum perhaps?

Great idea! I'll have to re-read it though.

Great Philipa, I believe it's your turn now. Just one small correction Eol aimed the javelin at their son Maeglin and Aredhel came between them to protect her son.
The story of Maeglin, who was the son of Aredhel and Eol is Chapter 16 in the Silmarillion if anyone is interested, a lovely little story, with great implications.
Many apologies Elizabeth, I usually put the level on but missed this time

Oh yes, yes that was it.
Level 3
Remember who Dior was? He was reported to be very beautiful. What three races was his bloodline from?
Note: This is not the Gondorian fellow nor is he the handbag designer.
